What You Should Know About Cupcakes

Many people think that the word “cupcake” came from the concept that this tasty delight is a cake baked in a cup. But actually, cupcakes got this name because in the past, it was placed inside an athletic cup in baseball games. Abner Doubleday was the first person to put a cake there. He was also known to nibble his “cup cake” even while he was running the base.

The very first cupcake didn't have any frosting as most people think.  Instead, it was covered with lard that served as a gravy to moisten the cake. It was Winston Churchill who first suggested to put a type of sweet frosting on top of the cupcake.

The First Roller Coaster

The very first roller coaster was launched in 1902 in Pennsylvania by Edward Joy Morris. Standing at 41 feet in height, the Lead-the-Dips joyride was supposed to be the future biggest attraction in Lakemont Park.  However, it wasn't safe for riding at that time.

Its wooden cars and the absence of additional wheels to avoid derailing made it impossible to use. It took 14 years to renovate Lead-the-Dips. It was opened in public for for the second time in 1999.

5 Minutes and Your Case is Closed in India

The court system in India is exceedingly behind its schedule that they would require over 450 years to pull through from the slacking and start hearing cases on time. Since there are many people who have been waiting (if still alive) for their case to be heard  for over 20 years now, the New Delhi Court is rushing the cases, gives 5 minutes for each party and then makes a decision right after that.

The primary reason for this unfortunate scenario is the few judges available and the fact that a lot of people waste the Court's precious time with their silly arguments.
